Glass and light go together like a horse and carriage. The incredible versatility of glass makes it the ideal medium for creating striking and luminous lighting in a near-infinite range of sizes, shapes, colors, and patterns. I started making these fixtures because I’ve found that direct light allows the full potential of glass to be manifested. These handmade water series configurations were first derived from a presentation at SecTac Airport years ago. The hand cut shards of glass are fused to a glass disk along with the textured droplets and shaped, with each composition being unique.

The chandelier hangs by stainless steel aircraft cables from a simple stainless steel and brass hardware. The fixture is designed to be direct wired with a cluster of three sockets (100 watt maximum each). A standard incandescent or LED retrofit light bulbs with dimmer.
