This crescent is composed of hundreds of individual cane sections. To make it, I spent two days at the Musieum of Glass in Tacoma designing and pulling a variety of glass cane. Each of these with unique complimentary colors and patterns. Once cooled, this cane was cut to uniform lengths and arranged into a pattern within a crescent form. These elements were fused into a single, solid crescent, which is mounted in a stainless steel base.
